Here is an AP report on how the war has literally allowed history to be looted. Puts a different spin on Don Rummy's ho-hum attitude, doesn't it?

The next time riot and looting breaks out in your city, remember these words:
"The looting is regrettable but understandable. A horrible regime has been lifted from the people. There is a reaction to the lifting of that power, and that is a reaction against oppression. It is on the way to liberty and freedom."
-White House spokesman Ari Fleischer
"One can understand the pent-up feelings that may result from decades of repression and people who have had members of their family killed by that regime, for them to tbe taking their feelings out on that regime."
-Don Rumsfeld
"I don't feel any guilt at all. I paid for these a thousand times."
-A Baghdad pharmacist liberating brocade sofas with her husband, a doctor.
"This is what America has brought us--looting and destruction."
-Nabil Abed, a Baghdad resident
