This is America homeboy. $50million means never being left alone. Plus, Cracka don't play that when it comes to his paper. I just hope Dave didn't fuck it up for the next generation of young Black comics, entertainers, entrepreneurs, you name it.
I'm still amazed that as much as history repeats its self, black folks still don't get it. Dave Chapelle could not possibly be that naive. When he signed that mega bucks deal, he had to have understood the game was going to change. The same thing happened to Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy when they hit the big time. Did Dave really think he would have complete creative control when he signed for $50 million?
