From Elizabeth Mendez Berry (now a hard-boiled reporter for Time Magazine!): Arianna debunks Judith Miller's martyrdom--Miller is the source.

A little history: Press calls for an inquiry into the Valerie Plame leak. Justice Department goes after journalists. Journalists wish they had never called for an inquiry. Justice Department trains sights on Judith Miller and Matthew Cooper. Matthew Cooper spills his beans at prompting of bosses at Time magazine, Miller clams up. Press calls Time magazine a traitor, calls Miller a hero. Press realizes Miller's sources are conservatives. Press calls Miller a traitor.
Can you see the flimsy media spinning here? It's hypocritical to claim that Miller is a hero for protecting her sources when she goes to jail, then say she's a villain when it turns out that her sources are the Bush administration. I like how Arianna Huffington's blog project is developing, but her "anonymously sources" allegations are rumors until proven otherwise.
I'm no fan of Miller's work, but we should probably should reserve judgment on this until it's all done.
